From San José

- Drive: 6-7 hours via Costanera Sur (Route 34)
- Fly: 45-minute flight to Puerto Jiménez (daily SANSA flights)
- Bus: Direct daily buses from San José to Puerto Jiménez

From Puerto Jiménez

- Distance: 6km (15-minute drive)
- Road Conditions: unpaved road, some rough patches
- Vehicle: Any car works in the dry season; 4x4 recommended during the rainy season
- Transportation: Available from the airport ($15 USD)
- GPS: only use Waze

Directions from Puerto Jiménez

  • Follow the national main road 245 towards the south when exiting Puerto Jimenez
  • Drive 2 km, do NOT cross the bridge
  • Turn right at the sign Finca Guarumo
  • Drive 4 km uphill
  • The gate to Finca Guarumo is on your left
  • Open the gate and park your vehicle in the covered car park
  • You will see Villa Bruno right next to the car park
