We’re beyond excited to finally welcome you to Villa Bruno, the first eco-villa at Finca Guarumo—and a heartfelt milestone in our journey of restoring this land and sharing its magic with others.
Located deep in the lush jungle of Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula—just 6 km south of Puerto Jiménez and 20 minutes from a secluded beach—Villa Bruno is your gateway to nature, peace, and slow living.
Villa Bruno is named after one of our most frequent (and charming) visitors: Bruno the white-nosed coati. He’s become a mascot here at the finca, often spotted trotting past the terrace or foraging around the garden beds with his long tail held high. But he’s not the only wild neighbor!
You might also glimpse Carolina the brocket deer, who grazes quietly at dawn, or Olly the Mexican tamandua (a curious tree-climbing anteater) as he moves through the canopy in search of termites. Living here means sharing space with these gentle creatures—and now you can too.
Villa Bruno is 100% solar powered, from the lights to the fridge to the solar-heated hot water. Our dual water system brings you pure spring water for drinking, while rainwater is collected and filtered for utility use—keeping your stay sustainable without sacrificing comfort.

Guests can enjoy a farm-to-table experience simply by walking around. Fresh herbs, bananas, pineapples, and ginger grow just outside your door, and we love sharing what’s in season. Pick what you need, or let us surprise you with a basket of finca goodies.
You’re also invited to explore our garden, visit the greenhouse, and learn how we’re regenerating the soil with natural practices—bokashi, microorganisms from the jungle, and more.
